Our Independence

Commercial relationships do not determine ranking results.

A credible evaluation programme requires a clear boundary between editorial assessment and commercial activity. The commitments below reflect the policies stated in the current programme terms.

Nomination is not selection

Submitting or accepting a nomination does not guarantee eligibility, ranking, finalist status, or recognition.

Participation is not placement

Taking part in the programme does not guarantee a position in any published ranking.

Advertising is separate

Advertising and promotional purchases do not determine eligibility, scores, positions, nominees, or winners.

Partnerships are separate

Commercial partnerships and sponsorship arrangements do not determine editorial evaluation results.

Positions cannot be purchased

A business cannot buy a ranking position or an Apex Circle Award.

Conflicts are addressed

Evaluators should disclose material conflicts and not assess an entrant where impartiality could reasonably be affected.
