Apex Circle Awards
Ranking Methodology
Effective date: 9 September 2026
1. Purpose
This methodology explains how Apex Circle Awards evaluates and ranks eligible businesses. It is designed to provide a consistent, evidence-led, and transparent editorial process.
2. Sources
We may consider lawfully accessible public information, verified business details, eligible review data, official directories, and information supplied during nomination. A reference to any third-party platform does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
3. Eligibility
Businesses must have a verifiable operating presence, sufficient trading history, appropriate licences, and evidence relevant to their category. A nomination does not guarantee inclusion or distinction.
4. Evaluation
Each eligible business is assessed across experience quality, service consistency, identity and craft, and responsible operation. Category-specific evidence is considered alongside these core criteria.
5. Ranking
Rankings are ordered using the published criteria and available eligible evidence at the time of assessment. Ratings are a snapshot and may change as source information evolves.
6. Independence
A ranking position or distinction cannot be purchased. Advertising, trophies, certificates, promotional packages, and other optional services do not influence evaluation scores or placement.
7. Corrections
We may correct material errors, duplicate records, incorrect category assignments, or identity mismatches. A business may be excluded when evidence is insufficient, unreliable, or cannot be used lawfully.
8. Transparency
Apex Circle Awards is a private awards and discovery platform, not a government or professional certification body. We may update this methodology when standards, laws, or available sources change.
